Partnerships and Accountability
Trustees
Krunch UK is governed by a committed group of knowledgeable trustees with experience in a wide range of sectors of society and employment. The trustees meet on a regular basis and offer valuable support and accountability to the organisation in all areas, such as working policy, finance, staff and programme.
Stakeholders Group
The Stakeholders Group meets twice a year and consists of representatives from South Gloucestershire Council, Thornbury Town Council, CVS, Schools, Y.I.S.S, parents, police, local community groups, young people and the Krunch SW Management Team.
South Gloucestershire Youth Work Partnership
We are an active part of the South Gloucestershire Youth Work Partnership that brings together several agencies working with young people in the area.
Further Networking
Krunch SW also works with a variety of local organisations who provide specific training to young people through arts, music, sports and mentoring. We have identified organisations who share the same ethos, accountability and those who are specialised at working with young people from all backgrounds.
Policies
- All Krunch staff undergo an enhanced DBS check and safeguarding training.
- Krunch has public liability insurance, a current safeguarding policy, a health and safety policy including risk assessments and staff with up-to-date first aid training.
- A referral form must be completed for each young person referred to Krunch SW and a key worker must be named with whom we can liaise.
- We regularly review all placements with the referring agency to ensure that Krunch SW is meeting the needs of the young person.
